    Description
    U.S. Model 1836 White Buff Sword Belt.  Adopted in 1836 for all enlisted personnel who were armed with a sword.  Belt has old repair (See photo) near adjustment hook.  Length of the belt is 45-1/4" - Width - 1-3/4" Wide. Reissued during the Civil War because of shortages,  RARE.
