This device can be mounted to a surface of your choice using the appropriate screws/bolts (not included), allowing you to slide any DeWalt 20v MAX tool onto it for easy, out-of-the-way storage and quick retrieval. It works in a way similar to how the tool's battery slides in, but without the need to depress a button for removal, while still having a positive 'click' that holds the tool in place with some security.
