THE BATTLE OF THE WILDERNESS - FROM THE JOHN GRAHAM COLLECTION - Relic condition brass Sword Belt or Knapsack 'Spool', stud, or button used on a variety of leather equipment to join two pieces of leather
A Relic condition brass Sword Belt or Knapsack 'Spool', stud, or button used on a variety of leather equipment to join two pieces of leather, that was recovered at the site of the Battle of the Wilderness. It measures about 1 1/8" by 1 1/8". This artifact was acquired from the John Graham collection.  It was a part of a group that Graham identified as being recovered at the Wilderness.  Graham, a long-time relic hunter and collector, passed away in January of 2009.  I acquired this artifact from his son in that same year. A provenance letter will be included.
