Solo 647  /  Homelite 290 Chainsaw
This is a chainsaw Solo 647 which is the same saw as a Homelite 290.
Everything on the saw worked until the
ignition coil
went out, which cost over 0, so I decided to sell the unit in pieces and buy another saw. I have used the saw for cutting firewood for 3 years and it has worked fine. I am not selling the bar and chain or the two nuts with this sell.
I will only ship within the United States and there are no returns,
so please ask questions and make certain you can use the part or parts before bidding on the items. To my knowledge everything worked on the saw before taking it apart aside from the
ignition coil
. It would run great until it got hot and it would stop running until it completely cooled, then it would fire up again, so I believe it is the ignition coil / module.
You can make me an offer for individual parts or buy all as a bundle. If you buy individual parts and not the bundle, the shipping price will be different from what is listed for everything. I have not cleaned the engine parts since taking it apart so you will be buying as is with some oil and sawdust on the parts. I have all the screws, gas and oil plugs, and saw dogs packed up inside the box.
