    Description

    Set of 6 Schumann Dresden Floral & Gold Scroll Luncheon Plates Circa 1946 - 1949
    Very pretty set of 6 porcelain luncheon plates. Each plate is nicely decorated with Dresden style flowers in the center in purple, pink, orange, blue, yellow and white. With small flowers along the border. The border of the plate has a relief molded sort of net/lattice design with relief molded scrollwork along the very edge. With gold gilt scrollwork designs to the edge. Marked on the reverse Bavaria Schumann Germany US Zone. This mark was used by Carl Schumann between 1946 and 1949.
    These have some wear to the gilding, but are in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Each plate measures approximately 8 inches wide.
