    Description

    Early excavated State of New York (SNY) plate from Port Royal, Virginia. Hooks are MIA and there are two nail holes present through the plate suggesting it was once hammered onto something as possibly a display. This was somewhat common practice decades ago with many relics being placed on display boards. All lead is present on the back and the face shows minor dings. I have not attempted to clean any excess marks. Overall a nice early recovered SNY plate.
