Civil War enlistedman's belt buckle, belt and cap box in worn condition. As you can see the leather waistbelt is in fair condition and starting to show moderate surface cracking. The belt is full length up to the plate where it has separated. The weight of the plate has caused the leather to tear right behind the arrow hooks. The buckle is the old 1839 pattern and shows minor surface wear to the face with some small dings here and there. The lead is still present on the reverse. The cap box displays a stamped "US" on the front outer flap. The latch tab is missing the tip. The flap edges and top also has some surface finish loss. The inside still contains some lambs wool. Both leather belt loops are still in tact. Please see pictures for condition.
