Authentic shipwreck recovered New York SNY buckle found in North Carolina. The verbal history that came with this states that it was found near Little River Inlet in North Carolina and it was originally purchased at a Civil War shop in Gettysburg. A Union transport ship sank near the end of the war carrying troops and supplies and the site was located and this was one of the items recovered. A great item for any Civil War collection.
