    Amazing Hand Made Double Vase Sterling Silver 14K Gold Sweetser Co 1915
    Amazing American sterling silver hand made double rectangular vase with applied bands of 14K yellow gold by The Sweetser Co. c.1915. The vases feature ornate embossed images of flowers, insects, and foliage as well as scroll decorations. The vase comes with a removable wooden base which features scroll decorations. Marked 6031.
    This attractive vase measures 5" long, 2 9/16" wide, 10 1/8" tall, and weighs 22.1 ozt. The base measures 5 13/16" long, 3 7/8" wide, and 1 1/2" tall. Atop the base, the vase measures 11 5/16" tall.
    The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
    The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. The wooden base has some losses of wood due to a lifetime of loving usage.
