Product Description
This unobtrusive plant support is ideal for Metal or Plastic downspouts that are up to 9 feet tall and the 4 inch trellis width fits perfectly.
The Black HDPE lattice (heavy duty plastic and tangle-free) in the kit is purposely designed for vining plants. Unlike metal trellises, which get too hot in the sun or wooden trellises which are too large for average plant tendrils to grab in order to climb. This narrow trellis will quickly become covered in Morning Glory, Moonflower, Honeysuckle and Passion vine. Other suggested vines are Clematis or Climbing Roses.
This trellis must be mounted onto the downspout so we've made sure it is easy to install with limited skills and common tools. The only tool needed is a screw gun. If needed, the HDPE mesh in the kit can be shortened with household scissors.
The mounting brackets (natural western red cedar) arrive cut-to-size with pre-drilled holes. Zinc-coated steel self-tapping screws are included in the mounting kit along with stainless steel cable ties.

Each downspout trellis is mounted directly onto the downspout and has a maximum length of 9 foot Tall, 4 inches Wide. Cedar mounting brackets, zinc-coated steel screws and stainless steel cable ties are included. This is a strong trellis, tested to hold up to 50 lbs (see image demonstrating the quality control test for strength). Clear easy-to-follow instructions with images are included. (Vining flowers/climbing plants are not included).
