This Aluminum Channel Kit provides strong and long-lasting framework for your Industrial or Commercial horizontal fence project. Then by slipping in regular 1 in. x 6 in. boards, (sold separately), into the channels once fastened to the posts, the result is a warm and fully private, contemporary, horizontal wood fence that has the strength and endurance of an aluminum fence. This horizontal Slipfence system also allows for adjustments in the boards if they should shrink over time, keeping the fence fully private.
Includes Nine 3X3 inch by 100 inches long posts:
Post thickness is 0.125 in. wall
Powder coated for outdoor use in all climates
Pre-treated prior to coating to ensure no corrosion
Sink post 2 ft. into ground with cement and make sure to leave at least 75 in. above grade for a 6 ft. fence, and 64 in. for a 5 ft. fence
Rounded corners
Cuts easily with metal blade on power saw
Black textured coating to hold color longer
Also includes eight Horizontal Fence Kits:
Inside channel width 1-1/8 in. to accommodate a 5/4 in. x 6 in. board with an actual thickness of 1 in.
Kit includes 2-channels 70 in. L
Also includes 10 stainless #12 x 5/8 in. star drive self-drilling screws to fasten channels to posts
Includes black stainless wood screws with star drive to fasten boards to channels
Screw holes are countersunk for screws to seat flat leaving a nice flush surface inside the channel to slide in boards
Enough hardware for 50 feet of fence. NOT included are the deck boards.
