5mL Transport Vials, Case of 1000
The transport vials are made from virgin polypropylene, as recycled can lead to the presence of contaminating polymers and reduce shape consistency.  They are ideal for sample collection, storage and safety.  Though these are non-sterile, the tubes themselves are autoclavable.  The white screw cap has a molded-in sealing ring, which helps provide a tight and leak-proof fit.
The vials have a writable surface on their side, and are graduated accurately to 5mL of volume.  While the vials are conical, the sides of the vial have been extended to just beyond the tip, allowing them to be freestanding.
Each vial measures approximately 58mm in height (60 w/cap), has an inner diameter of 14mm and an outside diameter of 16mm. The depth at the center of the vial is approximately 56mm.
The maximum use temperature is 135C/275F, and the brittleness temperature is 0C/32F.
The recommended autoclaving guidelines are:
Temperature: 121C/249.8F
Pressure: 15psi
Time: 15 minutes
Cycle: Steam

not
recommended.
**NOTE**
The caps are NOT autoclavable, but can be sterilized via Sterilization Gas.
