    Description

00 bonds at 4% interest payable in Gold Coin at the City Trust Company, Boston, MA. Number 110. We are coin and currency specialists, but are struck by the freshness and boldness of the ink on these neat documents. Canceled August 17, 1909.
Hampden County is in the Connecticut River region of Central ("Western") Massachusetts, very distinct from Boston but quite historic in its own right. Couple folds on this one and a little discoloration at edges, still quite nice. See our other examples of consecutive certificates in even better condition.
Massachusetts Buyers ONLY: 6.25% MA sales tax on orders under 00.
